POSA's mission is to increase the safety and effectiveness of law enforcement officers and to enhance the security of our communities by offering free and low-cost advanced education and training to law enforcement officers. While each agency and department offers good training for new and current officers, training budgets are limited. Additional training will make our law enforcement officers and communities safer. In partnership with PoliceOne.com, POSA is offering free 45-minute to two-hour tactical training videos on subjects like tactical shotgun usage, crisis entry, disarming, close quarter shooting, active shooter, knife defense and more. These programs can be downloaded from the POSA site at www.posai.org. Below are shorter video tips that POSA provides, as well as articles they have written. New material and programs are always being added. |
